I just want to thank all the friends and supporters who attended yesterday's fundraising event at Bounce Trampoline Sports. This event was a huge success for our Nassau County Detectives' Charity. We welcomed well over 500 participants who attended the event in support. As my sixteen year old neice said to me "Uncle Glenn this was the best fundraiser I have ever been to." The children and adults who participated in the trampoline activities really had an awesome time and didn't want to leave. I would like to thank our office manager Jen and the rest of the DAI family for all the hard work they put in to make this event a success.

I would also like to thank Rick and Danny, the owners of Bounce Trampoline Sports, who dedicated all the proceeds from yesterday's event to the charity. These guys went all out in support of our foundation. I would ask our members to return the favor by supporting this new business. I promise you that you will have the time of your life there and your kids will beg you to come back. I couldn't get my kids to leave.

Finally, I would like to thank our retired Delegate Ray Gene (Raygene Bull) who organized this entire event. For a retired guy Ray is the hardest worker I know and the biggest supporter of our Detective family. A few years back Ray was honored as our 2011 Man of the Year for all the work he did in support of the union. Ray continues to earn that award year after year. From the entire DAI Board and Delegates we would like to say Thank you Ray!

Glenn T. Ciccone
